tbh i think family tv habits growing up (one analogue tv until i was nearly 14 and then we got the digital one that was slightly bigger; you turned the tv on to watch a specific programme and when it was done you turned it off again, very little "background noise" tv going on) do shape my adult tv habits like no i do not in fact "have" a "tv",

#i was on a zoom call the other day with an actual legitimately famous tv person #and i didn't know who she was #and i mentioned in the group chat afterwards that i'd had to google her halfway through the call #and everyone was like HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW WHO THIS WOMAN IS #i'm like. idk. she's on itv (i think?)#i don't remember the last time i experienced itv #it simply doesn't factor into my life
